What are the delivery times for custom sofas?

At Maestro Furniture, each sofa is handcrafted with care, so delivery times can vary based on production schedules, material availability, and the overall shipping environment. We provide an estimated delivery window at the time of purchase and will keep you updated throughout the entire process. If you have questions about lead times, you are welcome to contact our team anytime.

How can I track my order?

We are currently improving our online tracking system, but our support team is always ready to share the latest updates regarding your order. You will receive email notifications at key stages, including when production is complete, when your order ships, and when delivery arrangements begin.

For additional help, connect with us through live chat or email during our support hours.

How do I update my order details?

If you need to make changes to your order, please reach out to us with your order number and requested updates. Our team will review your request and confirm any changes that can be made based on the stage of production.

How do I cancel my order?

For made to order products, cancellations are free before the item leaves our facility. If you cancel once the order has shipped, a restocking fee will apply and will be deducted from your refund. We will notify you when your custom piece is nearing completion so you can make any final decisions.

For ready to ship items, the cancellation window is shorter due to their quick processing time. If you need to cancel a ready to ship order, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid additional fees.

For all cancellation inquiries, you can reach our team by email.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Maestro Furniture offers financing options that allow you to pay over time with convenient monthly plans.
To explore financing, select the available financing option at checkout. You will be guided through a short approval process and shown the payment plans you qualify for.

Please note that financed orders cannot be modified. If changes are required, contact our team for assistance.

Are Maestro Furniture products sold through retailers?

No. Maestro Furniture products are sold exclusively through our official website.
Purchases made from third party sellers are not covered under our warranty or policy terms, since we cannot guarantee how those items were stored, handled, or transported.

By designing, building, and delivering our furniture directly, we maintain full control over quality and craftsmanship from start to finish.

You can contact our team directly to discuss your project needs, bulk pricing, and timeline options.

Shipping & Delivery

What is the cost of shipping?

Maestro Furniture offers free standard delivery across Canada. You can choose between complimentary front door delivery or optional white glove delivery for an added fee of 100 dollars.

White glove service is ideal for larger pieces like sectionals or when you expect a challenging delivery path such as narrow hallways or walk up buildings.

Do you offer items that ship quickly?

Yes. We often have select pieces available for quick shipping, usually within about one week.

To check availability, contact our team with the style and fabric you are interested in.

During peak sale periods, please allow an additional 7 to 10 business days for processing. While we work to meet our estimated two to three week timelines, increased order volumes may affect scheduling.

What is the difference between front door delivery and white glove delivery?

Maestro Furniture offers two delivery options:

Front door delivery:
Your order will be placed at the front door of your home or apartment by our delivery team.

White glove delivery:
Our delivery partner will bring your furniture into the room of your choice, unpack it, and complete any required assembly. Packaging removal is available, but keep in mind that original packaging is needed for returns and exchanges. Without it, a restocking fee may apply.

For larger items or locations with limited access, white glove delivery is recommended.

How does the delivery process work?

Most orders are delivered with scheduled delivery service. Our delivery partner will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery window. On the scheduled day, the order will be brought to your door.

You can also upgrade to white glove delivery during checkout. This includes room placement, unboxing, and optional packaging removal.

A signature is required for all deliveries except those shipped by courier.

How should I measure my space for delivery?

Before ordering, measure the height, width, and depth of all doorways, hallways, elevators, and staircases leading into your home. Allow an extra one to two inches to ensure a safe fit.

If an item cannot be delivered due to sizing constraints, a restocking fee may apply. Delivery partners may decline delivery if the furniture cannot be moved safely through the space.

Which carriers deliver Maestro Furniture orders?

Larger items are delivered using trusted third party carriers.
Smaller items such as slipcovers or accessories are shipped through reliable courier services.

Can I delay the delivery of my order?

Yes. If your estimated delivery window no longer works for you, reach out to our team.

We can hold your order at our facility for up to 30 days at no charge. If you need additional time, a hold fee may apply.
If your order has already moved to the local delivery hub, they can store it for up to 30 days at no extra cost.

Please note that orders held for the full duration of a hold period and then canceled are not eligible for a refund of the hold fee.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives with damage, contact us within 5 days and we will help arrange a replacement.

If only a fabric cover or removable piece is damaged, you will not need to return the entire item. A prepaid return label will be provided so you can send the damaged piece back once your replacement arrives. These returns help us improve our products and processes.

Do you offer international shipping?

To inquire about international delivery options, please contact our team.
Please note that orders shipped outside Canada may be final sale and may not qualify for returns, exchanges, or warranty coverage depending on the destination.

Materials and Construction

Where are Maestro Furniture products made?

All of our sofas and sectionals are proudly designed and handcrafted in Canada at our own production facility. Every piece is made by experienced artisans, and since we handle manufacturing ourselves, there is no middleman. This allows us to maintain full control over quality while offering direct value to our customers.

Which fabrics work best for homes with kids or pets?

Every home is unique, so the best fabric depends on your lifestyle. If spills are common, look for fabrics that can be spot cleaned easily and colours that stay vibrant after washing. For households with pets, heavier fabrics with tighter weaves tend to resist scratching and wear better.

While no fabric is completely indestructible, our entire collection is created with a focus on everyday living. We avoid harsh chemical coatings, and our natural and recycled fabrics hold up well with proper care and regular maintenance.

Why are some products not offered in lightweight fabrics?

Certain lightweight fabrics, while beautiful, may not be the best fit for designs that require tight slipcovers or tension based attachments. These fabrics can naturally stretch or crinkle, making them less suitable for styles that need firm anchoring.

Durability also plays a role. Lightweight materials can wear faster when pulled tightly or secured repeatedly. For this reason, specific fabric families are limited to styles where they can maintain their shape and look their best.

What is thread dyed fabric?

Thread dyed fabrics are created by dyeing each individual thread before the weaving process begins. This technique produces deep, rich colour variations and a natural textured look. Since the colour saturates every fiber, thread dyed fabrics often stay vibrant longer and are relatively easy to care for.

What type of leather does Maestro Furniture offer?

Our premium leather collection includes luxurious full grain options crafted for long lasting quality. Full grain hides keep their natural strength and character while developing a rich, lived in look over time. These leathers are drum dyed for colour depth and treated with care to create a soft, elegant feel.

Leather is naturally unique, so colour variations and markings may appear. While it requires a bit more maintenance than fabric, it offers unmatched texture, strength, and distinction for those who prefer a refined, classic material.

What is the difference between feather down and poly fill?

Feather down cushions contain a blend of ethically sourced feathers, down, and poly fiber, creating a soft, sink in comfort.
Poly fill cushions use only vegan poly fiber but are crafted to mimic the plush feel of down.

Both fills are loose and flexible, allowing them to shift and adapt to your comfort over time. Regular fluffing is recommended to maintain their shape and loft.

What materials are used inside the cushions?

Regardless of the fill you choose, every cushion begins with a supportive foam core for structure and durability. Surrounding the foam is poly fiber, which adds softness and stability.
For feather down cushions, the remaining fill includes a feather to down blend.
For poly fill cushions, additional vegan poly fiber is used to achieve a similar plush feel.

What is high density foam?

High density foam is a durable material used to create structure and support in furniture. The higher the density, the longer the foam will hold its shape. A density of 23 kg per cubic meter or higher is generally considered high density and is often used in quality seating.

How is foam density different from firmness?

Density measures the amount of material in a given space. Firmness refers to how much pressure is needed to compress the foam. Two foams can have the same density and still feel different in firmness.

What materials are used to build your frames?

Our frames are constructed from kiln dried hardwood combined with high quality plywood reinforcement. Each frame is strengthened with corner blocks for added stability. The seating foundation is supported with durable webbing and spring suspension systems to ensure long lasting comfort.

Can modular styles be expanded into larger sectionals?

Yes. Modular collections are designed for flexibility. You can add components to build a larger sectional or rearrange existing pieces to create a new seating layout. If you would like pricing or help selecting individual modules, our team is happy to assist.

Please note that individual modular pieces are considered custom orders and are final sale.

Can sectional ottomans be detached?

Yes. Our modular sectional components are equipped with secure connectors that allow ottomans and seats to be easily attached or separated as needed.

Care

What is the recommended way to clean my slipcover?

For routine cleaning, a handheld steam cleaner works well on seat and back cushion covers. Use mild detergent when needed and always spot test before applying any product to the full surface.

What is the best way to pre treat or spot clean spills?

If a spill happens, act quickly. Blot the excess liquid with a clean cloth rather than rubbing it, since rubbing can push the stain deeper into the fibers. For thicker spills like sauces, gently lift the excess with a spoon before cleaning.

Some fabrics handle spot cleaning better than others. Lightweight linens can fade or discolor when spot treated, while thread dyed fabrics and certain textured materials typically respond better when instructions are followed. Always check your fabric’s care guide before cleaning.

How should I care for my slipcover?

Slipcovers are designed to have a relaxed, casual look. Since they are not tightly fixed like traditional upholstery, they will shift and soften through everyday use. Wrinkles, creases, and a lived in appearance are completely natural.

A handheld steamer is useful for smoothing wrinkles and freshening the fabric. If seams or skirts shift, lift the cushions, adjust the slipcover into place, and tuck in any loose areas. Small adjustments help maintain a neat, tailored look while keeping the relaxed charm of the design.

How do I care for the cushions?

Our cushions are intentionally crafted for a soft, inviting feel rather than a stiff, structured appearance. Over time, they will settle and show gentle signs of use. To keep them looking full and even, fluff your cushions regularly. This helps maintain their loft and ensures more balanced wear across all seats.

How can I prevent my slipcover from fading in sunlight?

All fabrics will experience some fading over time, especially when exposed to direct sunlight or strong heat sources. Since we do not coat our fabrics with chemical treatments or protective additives, natural fading may occur.

To slow fading, avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight when possible. Dark and deeply pigmented fabrics tend to fade more quickly. Rotating cushions is an easy way to encourage even color wear.

Is it normal for slipcovers to fade slightly after washing?

Yes. Even though our fabrics are pre washed during production, slight fading can occur during the first wash, especially with natural linen or cotton materials. Pigment dyed fabrics may show mild color runoff during early washes.

Dark or vibrant fabrics contain more dye, so some fading is expected. Washing in cold water helps set the color and reduces further fading.

How should I store my furniture if I am not using it immediately?

If your space is not ready, store your furniture in a climate controlled environment. Choose a dry area with low humidity and no direct sunlight.

It is best to keep the furniture in its original packaging. Inspect the items shortly after delivery to confirm there is no damage, since any issues must be reported within 5 days.

When storing, place items upright and follow the directional arrows on the box. If stacking multiple boxes, place similar sized cartons together to avoid uneven pressure.
